A new flock of Cruel Angels seem to have appeared on youtube during these past few weeks.
It all started with Beckii Cruel (also know as Rebecca Flint), a 14 year old girl currently living in the Isle of Man. She gained a massive amount of popularity over the internet with videos of her dancing to popular J-Pop and Anime songs. She released a DVD as well as a single with her two backup dancers known as Gemma and Sarah Cruel.
The girls currently in the project are: Beckii, Sarah, Gemma, Johanna, Maxine, Kimi, Amanda, Pamela, and a few other girls.
Recently, a brand new wave of 'net idols' have been added to Cruel Angels. A group called Cute Ribbon! Project was reportedly adopted into this group, as well as other well known 'internet dancers'. Members of the CuteRibbonProject have created twitter accounts all with the last name 'Cruel', as well as mentioning it on their youtube sites.
Members are: BanzaiOtaku (Hanna), Miruko31 (Mitsu), Aralka1234 (Julia), Hizaki19 (Klaudia), Lemonkissu (Sachi), and MiiMoko (Siami).
Also, a current member of the Cruel Angels project, Kimi Cruel, re-enforced this fact by stating in her latest video that there were new girls added. ( At 1:23)
That brings the Cruel Girl count... Past 20?
I really hope their producing company is not planning to create another AKB48.
